As part of the Technology Development team, James is focused on demonstrating the therapeutic utility of Life Edit’s gene editing systems.
Prior to joining Life Edit, James was a postdoctoral fellow at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center where he developed high-throughput CRISPR screens to study the function of RNA alternative exons in tumor growth. James earned his PhD in Biomedical Science from the University of Florida where he studied RNA mis-splicing in the disease myotonic dystrophy.
