Ritika is focused on testing adaptive and pre-existing immune response to Life Edit Therapeutics’ gene editing nucleases in preclinical development. She has over 19 years of experience in immunology studying autoimmunity, inflammation in neurological disorders and immunotherapy.
Prior to joining Life Edit, Ritika was a Project Scientist and Assistant Professor of Molecular Medicine at the Cleveland Clinic where she was instrumental in developing a vaccine for prevention of breast cancer currently in Phase I clinical trial.
Ritika received her PhD in Immunology and Immunogenetics from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi, India. She then moved to the Cleveland Clinic as a post doctoral fellow of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
