Tim works on the production, characterization, and therapeutic development of novel genome editing enzymes.
Prior to joining the Life Edit team, Tim was a postdoctoral researcher at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where he developed chemical inhibitors for epigenetic targets.
Tim earned his PhD in Chemistry with an emphasis in protein engineering from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a B.S. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from California Lutheran University.
